Feel Good Friday

TGIF!!!!! This week has been the busiest week of my ENTIRE LIFE! I know that sounds dramatic, but it’s true! I’m a high school cheer coach & this week was our fall homecoming. Need I say more?

what I've been up to...

My family went to the K-State game on Saturday & it was an absolute blast! I graduated from KSU with my undergrad in social work in 2019, my brother (far left) went there for a few years & decided to get a degree from the tech school instead, my sister on the far right is currently a freshman there & my other sister (second from the right) is a junior in high school but is pretty dang sure she’ll end up in Manhappiness as well. Not that she has a choice at this point. ;)

It was so nice to get some much-needed sister time!

I haven’t been to a game in about two years & man it felt good to cheer on the ‘cats again!

K-State won 38-17 by the way!

The sunset views on the drive home were beautiful!

outfits of the week…

For the past few months or so I’ve started *trying* to consistently share my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet.

Friday…

Friday’s game day outfit! Not sure if my tee jinxed our football team or what, but we lost 0-61. It was NOT a touchdown kinda day lol!

IMG-4540-jpg.JPG

Here’s a closer look at the tee. I just love it!

Saturday…

My outfit for roasting in the sun at Bill Snyder Family Stadium!

IMG-4567.JPG

My tank is super old, but this skort is still in stock & it’s been a fan fav with y’all since I showed it!

IMG-4569.JPG

Sunday…

Sunday was spent running errands & recovering from the K-State game!

IMG-4528.JPG

Monday...

I worked the book for the middle school volleyball games after school on Monday, so of course I had to show a little school spirit!

IMG-4660.JPG

Tuesday...

School counselor Miss Rice is here to help ya! If there was a problem yo, I’ll solve it… Rice Rice baby! ;) In all seriousness, I love this tee & it couldn’t be more true! As a middle school counselor, I’m a big fan of a fixer-upper — whatever I can do to help my students & their parents, staff members, etc. feel more comfortable, more successful, more heard & seen, sign me up! I found Katie’s Etsy shop, CounselorMomDesigns, & immediately fell in love! She’s sweet enough to offer y’all a discount from anything from her shop! Use SMALLTOWN15 to get 15% off now through 9/28!

Wednesday...

Comfy & casual on Wednesday thanks to it being our picnic in the park day! Staff are wearing our new school tee, but I’m always cold in the school so I threw on my pocket crew from Aerie!

Thursday...

Thursday was a looong day! Cheer practice from 6:45-7:45am, school all day, working the clock for the high school volleyball games from 3:45-8:00pm, then the burning of the dummy ceremony for homecoming immediately after volleyball. Yowza!

in case you missed it...

On Tuesday I shared my monthly Amazon Prime finds post where I recap all of the things my fam bought (since we all share an Amazon account) throughout a month. You never know what you’ll find! You can read that post by clicking here.

I also shared my monthly What’s up Wednesday post! These posts are a hodge podge from what I’ve been eating lately to what I’m excited about vs. dreading. Click here to read that post.

friday favs...

My lanyard for school recently broke so I’ve been on the hunt for a replacement. I want something that’s super light & comfortable & this one from LittleLoShop Designs is so perfect! It’s neutral, but adds a little bit of a pop to my outfit. I stinkin’ love it! You can use code ALLI10 to get 10% off her shop through next Thursday 9/30!!

Y’all know how much I love decorating & that fall is my favorite season, so I absolutely love decorating for it! I found these adorable knitted pumpkins from WalkerHandcrafted & absolutely fell in love with them. The knitted material adds an element of texture & the various sizes add dimension. He has a bunch of other sets available in different color schemes. This neutral one fits in with my other decor so well!

Fall wardrobe, here I come!!! I’m absolutely thrilled to be partnering with ImpressedGiftsDotCom this week! I have two adorable fall-inspired pieces from them — this black fall tee & a fall vibes crewneck (scroll down to see). Both are wonderful quality & fit great! & I’ve got really great news! Not only did she give me a code for y’all to get 10% off her shop (ALLI10), we’re also working together to give y’all a $100 gift card to their shop!!! Click here to enter on her end & don’t forget to follow us on Instagram as an extra entry! Code & giveaway will end on Wednesday 9/29!

This assorted fall tee looks darling with my mustard popcorn cardigan & black booties as well!

COME ON!!! Coffee, pumpkins, & books… does it get any more fall than that?! I love the font, too!

As a high school cheer coach, this game day tumbler was not a want, but a need! How stinkin’ adorable!!! She offers a ton of other styles as well, but I just love this one!

One of my college roommates has a daughter who just turned one! I saw these dolls from Anthropologie months & months ago & have kept them in the back of my mind since then because I knew they would be so cute for Cora! They really fit Rachel’s vibe & they’re just dang adorable!

IMG_3979.JPG

The little tags that come with the dolls are too stinkin’ cute! I’m just so in love with these!!

As a cat mom, I’m no stranger to pet fur. My chomchom roller has been a life saver for me! Look at all of the cat hair that’s on Sophie’s favorite chair!

Gone so quick & back to lookin’ good!

IMG-4634.JPG

Y’all know I’m a BIIIG sweater girl & I love finding different / unique ones to add to my wardrobe. This one is from Target & it’s soo cute! It’s a thin knitted material with really small holes on the shoulder & waistline — they’re not big enough to seem see through which is good! It comes in a few other colors that I’m now super tempted by! I’m wearing a small & would say it fits a little bit oversized, especially in the length.

Another Target outfit! These checkered work pants are a bit out of my comfort zone, but I really like the outfit as a whole! I’m wearing my normal size four in the pants & would say they fit true to size. They’re super high rise & incredibly comfortable & stretchy. I’m wearing a small in the knitted sweater & would say it fits oversized as far as the width & the length of the sleeves. Both feel like really great material that will hold up well & keep me warm in the chilly months up ahead!

These two pieces from Walmart were the perfect way to try out the sweater + maxi skirt trend! I’m wearing a size small in both, both are true to size. The skirt is super soft, but pretty thin. It zips up the side & has a subtle tiered look about mid shin. The colors couldn’t be more perfect for fall! The sweater is legit chenille material & I never want to take it off my body!!! It’s possibly the softest top that I own. I love the smocked neckline & that it looks somewhat knitted. So many different ways you could wear this sweater, but it’s just stinkin’ cute paired with this skirt!

Saturday morning is the town parade & then I’m heading to my parent’s house for the afternoon. My sister & I are going to have a little sister movie date & go see Dear Evan Hansen. Have you seen previews for it? I think it has the potential to be really good & start some great conversations. & then after the movie, we’ll go back to our parent’s house to watch the K-State game on their projector!

What are your plans for the weekend? Drop them below in the comments, or feel free to message us on Facebook or Instagram! We’d love to hear what you’re all up to. We hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
