Sister Spring Break Trip 2025 — Broken Bow, Oklahoma
FINALLY getting around to putting this post together sharing about my sister spring break trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma! We all agreed it was our second favorite (out of four) trip we’ve taken together (the first being to Waco). If you know me at all, you know I’m mega organized & I love it so I thought I’d kind of walk you through our trip / itinerary & give ya all the links to things in case you want to use our trip for a reference!
We loaded up the car, went to church & lunch with our parents, & then hit the road to Oklahoma Sunday early afternoon.
We stayed at the most darling little cabin! We cracked up when we booked it because it’s advertised as a couples cabin, but hey, it worked great for three sisters, too! ;) The location was fabulous. We spent most of our time in Hochatown & Broken Bow & pretty much had to drive everywhere we went, but it was really nice to come back to our little secluded & quiet cabin. There was one bedroom (with an extra bed in the mudroom right off the front door), two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, parking area, a sauna & hot tub, & LOTS of outdoor seating options as well (including a super comfy padded porch swing).
We started day one with coffee from Okie Girls Coffee & Ice Cream.
We went to Beavers Bend Safari Park where we got to drive through different sections & see tons of animals. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard at some weird looking llamas & scary ostriches!
Afterwards, we grabbed lunch at Beavers Bend Restaurant. I had the most delicious catfish basket!
We decided to go on a little hike at Beavers Bend State Park to walk off lunch. We took the Cedar Bluff Trail & the scenery was beautiful!
For dinner, we went to The Blue Rooster. We got a bunch of fried slides & totally pigged out! Bethany & I both got yummy beers (Avery isn’t 21 yet).
The next morning, we ran out to get coffee at Hochatown Coffee Central & then came back to the cabin to enjoy a slow & relaxing morning.
Then we went to The Maze of Hochatown & got lost for WAY TOO LONG!
We were STARVING & dirty & hot. We went to the Hochatown Saloon for a late lunch. I inhaled my burger & fried okra, but I did snag a picture of our cute drinks (including Avery’s diet coke lol).
After lunch, we went back to the cabin to relax for a bit & freshen up before heading out to Beavers Bend Brewery. I got the most delicious & refreshing raspberry sour beer & was a huge fan!
Before heading back to the cabin for the night, we went to Sloppy Pops for a sweet treat. It was such a darling shop & our ice cream “nachos” were amazing!
We ended each night relaxing in the hot tub.
WE WERE SO SAD TO LEAVE!!! We got coffee at Local Habit Coffee Co. on our way out of town.
My sisters introduced me to Pickleman’s on our drive home & I’m a big fan now!
We had the absolute best time!! If any of y’all go to Hochatown or Broken Bow & use any of our recommendations, I hope you love them as much as we did! :)
Piper stayed with my parents & I think it’s safe to say she had a great time as well! ;)
