Life Lately
what I've been up to...
My parents were in Waco, Texas this weekend & picked up a box of cupcakes from the bakery silo for us to taste test, so I went to my parent’s house on Tuesday evening for dinner & some sweets! The flavor line up: cookies ‘n cream, shiplap, strawberries ‘n cream, lemon lavender, pumpkin spice, & campfire (s’mores). My top three favs were: pumpkin spice, cookies ‘n cream & strawberries ‘n cream.
Taste testing the cupcakes reminded me of our sister spring break trip to Waco a few years ago! It was for sure my all time fav trip & I would LOVE to go back. Click here to read my blog post about it!
Piper is my kind of girl — finding the sun spots.
On the bookshelf this week!
Breakfast & happy juice!
Tried a new gel polish brand from Target & I’m in love!
It’s always so special when you get to connect your personal life with your professional life. I loved getting to host massages from my sister for my district. I hope everyone felt a little more relaxed & were reminded of how deserving they are of self-care. 10/10 would recommend booking her for your district.
After 28 back-to-back massages, Avery might need some self-care herself!
Soup-er Fridays are my fav!
outfits of the week...
For the past few months or so I’ve started *trying* to consistently share my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet.

what Bethany is learning...
My sister, Bethany, is currently doing the It is Well - Anxiety Bible Study with a group of friends. She is really learning a lot & is going to share a few things each week that really stood out to her!
1. This week in our study there was a lot about talk of prayer and how reliable it is. Something that really stood out to me was, our prayer doesn't necessarily change God's heart, but it changes ours. We got into the conversation of what is the point of prayer if God already knows how everything is going to go. This was our conclusion: our heart is the one that ultimately changes.
2. A story from the Bible that was highlighted was when Elijah was begging the Lord to take his life. We really liked what happened after Elijah prayed, an angel appeared and gave Elijah some food and stayed with him while he rested. Elijah needed to be provided for like a child with a nap and a snack, after that he was much better and was ready to respond in the way that the Lord was calling him to.
3. The last thing that I absolutely loved was "Living a life free from anxiety does not mean living a life that is carefree and easy. It means being concerned with the right things." I really felt comforted by this because it helped me to understand that as someone who is constantly worried about things, that is okay, as long as they are the right things to be worried about.
in case you missed it...

As you may have seen, I started a new weekly post where I share my Weekly Sale Finds! I’ve been sharing them daily on my Instagram stories & I figured I could compile all of them from the week into one post so that y’all can see them, too! You can click here to read that post.
If you follow me on Instagram or LTK, then you’ve probably noticed that I have really stepped up my game when it comes to collages of sales, outfit inspos & new items. Well, that is all thanks to my younger sisters, Bethany & Avery. They’re “poor college students” & my mom & I were looking for some extra help on the blog, so it just made sense to bring them on board! We’ll be compiling all of the collages into one post each week so that they’re all in one place & to give those who don’t use social media a place to find them! Check out their post by clicking here!
Next up is my Friday fashion favs post!! Click here to read that one. It’s a goodie if I do say so myself. ;)
Many of you have said you miss seeing sales in Instagram stories, but unfortunately, Instagram doesn’t love them as much as we do! The more I share, the less it shows. So I’ve created a private facebook group that will ONLY have sales! Join us & grab all the DEALS on all the things! You’ll find deals in fashion, beauty, home, & school items! Facebook group is linked here.
