Coffee Shop Outfit Inspiration: Camel & Stripes
If you know me at all then you know that my closet consists mostly of stripes. I'm not sure why but it's something I'm ALWAYS drawn to when I'm out shopping. One of my favorite ways to incorporate my love of stripes into the changing seasons is to pair it with fall colors: maroon, camel, olive green, black, etc. (this post features specifically camel & black).
There's something about these outfits that makes me want to strut my stuff to a coffee shop, sit down with a good book, & order an iced coffee. Ya feel me? I know, iced drinks shouldn't be allowed in the colder months, whatever. You know what else shouldn't be allowed? To look this cute in camel & stripes!! Keep reading to see three different outfit ideas we came up with all featuring the same camel cardigan!
This outfit features the three c's I like to live by: comfortable, casual, & cute! This Old Navy black & white striped t-shirt paired with this camel cardigan, also from Old Navy, is so soft & comfortable! The jeans are from Madewell & I'm loving the button detailing. My Mom is obsessed with them & says they feel like butter. Do you have any Madewell jeans? Such a splurge, but well worth it she says! Black shoes are Steve Madden.
PS - A front tuck is a great way to spice up an outfit & show off the cute detail of the buttons on your jeans.
Next up we have this adorable black & white striped tank top dress from Old Navy paired with the same camel cardigan. This dress is unfortunately no longer available in stripes, but it is still available in black. Avery is wearing it with some older sandals from Target, however, this outfit would look great with some below-the-knee tall boots or even booties with ankle socks & a chunky black scarf!
The Rice girls LOVE this camel cardigan! In fact, we have it in two other colors (light grey & cream). Online it also comes in a dark grey & a light pink & when I was in the store last week, I saw it in a dark green & a maroon color as well. We are ordering it in more colors because it's almost fall & because it's dang cute & soft & because why not!!
Last is another casual outfit that will transition well into the fall months. I chose to be a little wild & incorporate two different patterns into this outfit: stripes + leopard! This black & white striped tank top from Target looks great with these (kids) leopard Steve Madden Pascale sandals & the same camel cardigan as before. Now I should warn you, I have EXTREMELY small feet for a 23-year-old. Like so small that I wear a size 2 in kids! So here is a link to the adult size of the Pascale sandals. They have a ton of great color options & are honestly so comfortable!
The camel is such an easy warm neutral color that it kind of combats the two prints & makes it a wearable option! I wore a pair of black jeans from American Eagle, but you could also wear black leggings for a super comfy/cute Saturday morning outfit! Check out these leggings from Amazon. I can truly say they are the closest thing to the Lululemon Align leggings I've ever found. Also, my Apple Watch band is camel leather (of course) & can be found here.
