February Fashion Finds: Amazon Edition
Since it's mid-February, hopefully some real spring weather will start to come around & give me a reason to shave my legs LOL. Just bein' real here. One of my favorite ways to transition into spring is to pair a sweater with some denim shorts. This keeps me cozy on the top, but leaves the bottom with some room to breathe. This kind of outfit is perfect for when the weather has a crisp + chilly wind, but the sun is super warm.
This orange button sweater would be super cute for fall because of its color, but I could also see it transitioning into spring for the same reason! Here Avery is wearing it with her favorite Madewell jeans & Steve Madden black slip on shoes. This top would look darling front tucked into some denim shorts with some brown or tan sandals to really make the buttons pop.
I love me a good chunky striped sweater! This sweater is pretty thin so it will work great as we transition into spring weather. The main colors of this sweater are navy, deep rust orange, grey & white. This sweater would work great in the fall months too so it's all around a great transition piece! Here I'm wearing it with my favorite Madewell jeans & my Steve Madden grey slip on shoes.

How fun is this red tied sweater! You can't totally tell from the pictures, but it looks a little bit striped because of the different textures & I loved the ribbed neckline. It just adds a lot of character & pop to this darling sweater. Plus I mean come on. The flare that the tied neckline on the back has just seals the deal. This is definitely more of a dressy sweater compared to the other ones, but cute nonetheless!
Pardon the wrinkles covering this sweater, life is busy & I'm not very put together -- judge me! I got this heart-stitched sweater specifically for Valentine's Day because working in a middle school gives you a great excuse to dress up for the holidays! It's a pretty casual sweater & can definitely be worn on a day-to-day basis & not just for Valentine's day. To keep it casual, I paired it with my favorite Madewell jeans & Steve Madden grey slip on shoes. I wanted something pink in the picture so I grabbed my go-to insulated wine glass haha maybe this wasn't my best choice considering it was the middle of the day & it looks like I'm drinking wine. Oh well!
I saw another blogger share this sweater & I knew it was something we needed to try. It's pretty short so it works great for the Rice girls because we have pretty short torsos. The details along the cuffs & neckline are really darling -- they're almost like small little holes. The deep navy & baby pink colors remind me of Easter & that gives me all the warm feelings for spring to hurry up!
Who doesn't need a great thin turtleneck tunic in their lives as we head into spring? This shirt is definitely thin, my bra showed through it a little bit the first time I put it on so I made sure to accommodate for that the next time. It is so flowy & easy to throw on on-the-go & it comes in a bunch of other colors.
We all need gentle reminders to be more kind, so why not display that on a t-shirt? I love the cursive writing on this shirt & how cute & casual it is! Avery looks darling in it for our Saturday morning out shopping & running little errands. This long sleeve would look super cute with a pair of colored shorts or pants to add a little pop!
Unfortunately this cute shirt is sold out right now, but when I see that it's back in stock I'll be sure to let you guys know!
I saved my favorite sweater for last! This sweater is SOO soft & cozy that I honestly didn't want to take it off once I put it on! I'm a big fan of maroon colors because it goes well with my skin tone, plus I just really like it. I also love the pops of grey & white in this sweater. It definitely runs a bit oversize so keep that in mind when ordering! I love a casual outfit so I paired it with my favorite Madewell jeans & Steve Madden grey slip on shoes. A friend got me this 'A' mug years ago from Target & I still use it to this day! Linking a similar one here. I love how it's so simple & it reminds my of my friend every time I use it.
