what I've been up to...
Well this week started off a little bit weird. No school on Monday thanks to Covid issues. I’ll be honest though, the extra time at home to unwind & destress was SO NICE.
On Sunday, Avery & I decided to make a little day trip to Manhattan to visit Bethany!
We had lunch at So Long Saloon & I got to have a nancy which was (& still is) my all time favorite adult beverage! We drove by all of the houses that I lived in while I was there, which was quite the trip down memory lane. We walked around campus & showed Avery some of Bethany’s classrooms (I had class in some of the exact same rooms years ago)! Afterwards, we did a Target run & got drinks from McDonald’s. It was a really nice Sunday!

For the past few months or so I’ve started *trying* to consistently share my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet.

I talked about this on Instagram the other day, but I seem to be having an issue with dandruff / dry scalp & I’ve NEVER had this issue before so I was needing all the tips & tricks & advice possible. This moisturizing shampoo & conditioner from Target was recommended so I grabbed while I was there last Sunday. I love how affordable it is!

My principal is retiring at the end of this school year, so I thought this retirement cup was pretty fitting!
My secretary is OBSESSED with sunflowers, so this sunflower cup is perfect for her!!
& my science teacher is going to be the principal next year, so I grabbed her this “principal off duty” wine glass. All of these were so cute & I loved getting to throw in some of my favorite liquid IV’s too!
mini Target haul!
Target is probably my favorite place to buy dresses from. They’re always so dang cute + fit great! I grabbed this floral one & think it’s just precious! I’m wearing a small & feel like it fits a little oversized. It comes in other prints, but this one is my favorite because it’s a great transition from winter to spring!
Here’s my attempt at the trend where you put a sweater over a dress to make it look like a skirt! It was actually super easy & I think it looks dang cute. Just put a belt over your dress on your waist & tuck the sweater in — easy peasy!
I also love Target’s crewnecks & this bright yellow floral one is making me so excited for spring!! It says, “the earth laughs in flowers”. I don’t own anything in this yellow color so this is a super fun addition to my closet. Fits slightly oversized, I’m wearing a small. I have this crew in two other colors from previous seasons & it has held up wonderfully!
When I was placing my order, I saw these comfy denim joggers & knew I had to add them to my cart! I couldn’t resist trying them on right away when they were delivered, so I apologize for the wrinkles! I can already tell these are going to be my new favorite work pants! They’re super comfy & almost feel like a linen material. They have a cute belt that you can tie in a bow or tuck in, but I think the bow makes them look a little nicer. I’m wearing my normal size medium & would say they fit true to size!

This weekend my cheerleaders are hosting a cheer clinic for the first through sixth graders in our school district. We’re very excited to spend our Saturday teaching skills & having fun!
