what I've been up to...
My grandma’s church got tickets to the K-State vs. WSU basketball game on Sunday night & she snagged two rows for our family! My Aunt & Uncle (middle of the front row) graduated from WSU & their youngest daughter (right next to them) goes to KSU but supports WSU too lol we all laughed that she must’ve been confused because of what she wore, but she did have some purple on underneath her crewneck. My cousin (& best friend that I lived with all four years of college) & her husband & their adorable son (front row, far left) all graduated from KSU. My grandma (front row, far right) & my parents (back row, far left & third from the left) didn’t go to KSU, but they have enough family members that did that they loyally support it lol! My brother (top row second from the left) went to KSU for three years. My sister, Bethany, (top row fourth from the left) is currently a freshman at KSU. I (top row, fifth from the left) graduated from KSU in 2019 with a B.A. in Social Work. & my youngest sister, Avery, (top row, far right) is a junior in high school, but pretty much feels like it’s a done deal that she’ll follow all of us to KSU as well!

Y’all this has been a doozy of a week. My town is hosting a high school basketball tournament which means long late nights. On top of all of that, my cat is having some issues so I’ve been talking with the vet, I shattered my phone screen, my car battery died & had to be replaced, & I have a pinched nerve that’s causing my left hand to go numb & twitch. What a fabulous week!

For the past few months or so I’ve started *trying* to consistently share my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet.

When I went through confirmation through my church in eighth grade, my parents gifted me with a purity ring. For me, my purity ring means so much more than abstaining from sex until I’m married. This cowl neck is an oldie but a goodie. I’ve had it for a couple of years & it’s held up it’s great quality & is still incredibly soft. It’s a wonderful Amazon find & I want it in about every color they offer! My sister tried it on when she was at my house over Thanksgiving break & I thought it looked so darn cute on her!
I’ve shared this pocket crewneck before, but in a grey color. My mom snagged this maroon color & it’s so darn pretty so I had to get a picture in it. It’s an XXS & fits oversized for sure.
Both my leggings & this top are from Abercrombie & Fitch! I absolutely love the mauve color of my top — it’s super soft & almost buttery. I’m wearing a small & feel like it fits a little bit big. I also grabbed a small in the leggings & feel like they fit true to size. They’re super soft & I love that they have pockets!
Target came out with some barefoot dreams dupe pieces & y’all, they’re totally worth the hype! By far the coziest & softest cardigan I own now! They come in split sizes & I actually went with the XS/S because they fit a little bit oversized & I didn’t want to be swimming. I love this cream color so much!
It also comes in a dark grey so you know I had to get that one, too!
Last spring I shared some of Target’s oversized crewnecks so when I saw that they came out with this olive green tie dye one, I knew I had to get it! I have been really loving olive green this year & this crewneck is no exception. I’m wearing a small so you can see how oversized it is (fits like a medium).
Another Target repeater but in a different color. I have this popcorn sweater in cream & it was one of my best sellers for awhile! I really love this rich maroon color for the fall & winter months. I love that it has a super subtle v neckline that is not too deep at all. It fits oversized, mostly wide — I’m wearing a small!
Awh this purple sweater gives me heart eye emoji feels! I LOVE the color & the texture detailing that this sweater has. It’s not the softest sweater I’ve ever felt, but it’s definitely not scratchy. It comes in a bunch of other color options as well! I’m wearing a small & would say it fits a tad oversized.
I shared this ribbed Aerie sweater a couple of times in the past few weeks while it was on sale & y’all loved it so much that it ended up being in my top five best sellers two weeks in a row & I totally get why! It’s seriously so soft & cozy. I’m wearing an XXS & feel like it fits more like a medium, honestly. It comes in quite a few other colors & I’ve asked for them for Christmas lol I do love this rich green though, I don’t have anything like it!
