Feel Good Friday

Happy Friday!!!

what I've been up to...

My cheerleaders have been working really hard at practice to get our stunts game ready! They looked great on Friday night!

Saturday was a busy day! In the morning, my cheerleaders & I were in the town parade.

In the afternoon, I went & worked one of our last events for our sno cone trailer!

I haven’t had one in so long so of course I had to make myself a cherry limeade sno cone with nerds!

& then that evening, my mom’s side of the family got together for dinner to celebrate my sister’s birthday! Of course my cousin’s adorable son & I were excited about the K-State win!

Unfortunately, the outcome of the Chiefs game was a bit different on Sunday.

On Monday night, my school had a fun event where we did a hayrack ride out to the county lake where we ate hotdogs & marshmallows. There truly is nothing better than …… on a Monday night!

Sophie & I feel the same way about mornings…

Middle schoolers are suckers for spending time outside & observing nature!

outfits of the week…

For the past few months or so I’ve started *trying* to consistently share my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet.

Thursday…

Middle school game day OOTD!

Friday…

High school game day + homecoming!

Saturday…

Parade day OOTD!

Sunday…

Yet another Sunday spent being lazy!

Monday...

Professional development OOTD!

Tuesday...

Wednesday...

Comfy OOTD for walking club day!

Thursday...

Middle school game day OOTD!

in case you missed it...

Every month I share all the things my family of six bought off of Amazon. Let me tell you sometimes there are some interesting things! You can click here to check out that post.

Instead of my typical sales post on Wednesday, I shared a blog post that I haven’t done in sooo long — what’s up Wednesday! It’s a hodge podge post covering things from what I’ve been up to lately, to what I’ve been reminiscing about. You can click here to read that post.

friday favs...

I did a collaboration with McDonald’s this week about their pumpkin spice lattes & I would really appreciate you giving me some love on that post — I’ll link it here!

In honor of tomorrow being the first day of October (yay!!!), I thought it was only fitting to share this darling “hello fall” crew from Hazel + Honey Boutique! You can use my code (SSTREF) to get 20% off your first order!! We are also giving away a Julie Vos Bracelet — check out my Instagram post to see how to enter!

Ever since I started walking more this summer, I’ve become obsessed with biker shorts! They’re my fav kind of shorts to walk in & they’re also great for hanging out around the house. I found this super soft & comfy pair from Old Navy! This specific pair is definitely better for hanging out rather than working out, but they’re just so cute! I grabbed a medium & would say they fit true to size. I love the other color options, too! Also, this tunic tank is my absolute FAV one!!

This sweet little outfit just screams fall & I love it!!! The color scheme of this skirt is just perfect for the fall season! I love the pockets & the buttons along the front. I’m wearing a small & would say it fits true to size. I paired it with my favorite muscle tee from Target, booties from Amazon & Etsy headband!

This sweet & simple mustard dress is totally giving me boho vibes & I’m here for it! The smocked chest with flowy sleeves & tiered bottom is just too cute! I’m wearing a medium & would say it fits true to size — comes in other cute colors, too!

Neutral sweaters are my JAM! I absolutely love the unique stitching, collar, cuffs & hemlines of this one!! How cute! I love this one with comfy mom jeans, but it will be darling with colored pixie pants as well! I’m wearing a medium & would say it fits true to size.

Quarter zips are my fav because I don’t usually like hoods! This one is such a cute color for fall & I love the ribbed detailing. I’m wearing a medium & I’m honestly not really sure how to describe the fit — it’s kind of boxy, but mostly true to size. Totally eyeing the other color options now!

This sweater set is so stinkin’ cute to lounge around in at home, but works great for running out to grab groceries as well! It’s such great quality that you could totally wear the sweater with jeans or work pants as well. I’m wearing a medium & would say it fits small — I would’ve sized up for a more loungey fit.

I’m looking forward to a much slower weekend than last weekend! My youngest sister has a volleyball tournament & my other sister has her Dad’s weekend so our Dad will be up in Manhattan (jealous!!!)
