What's up Wednesday — September

Happy Wednesday to you! Today I’m sharing a hodge podge post covering things from what I’ve been reminiscing about lately, to what I’ve been loving. Here we go!

what I'm eating...

Honestly anything quick I can get my hands on. It has been a CRAZY month!

what I’m reminiscing about...

Getting back into the swing of school is kicking my butt if I’m being totally honest. So right now, I am reminiscing on our summer vacation to New Mexico. Ahh, the cool morning air & the mountains.. LOVE getting away with my family!

what I'm loving...

Since I work in a school, I totally see my school lanyard as an opportunity to accessorize & spice up my outfits just a little! Middle school girls can be the absolute BEST hype girls — they always love to see what lanyard I’m wearing when I get to school & they never hesitate to tell me how much they love it lol modern made company has some absolutely DARLING options, like this colorful one that has the words “be kind” on it!

This silicone bubble one is colorful too, but it’s a little bit more muted & neutral.

& I put the personalized beaded keychain on my work bag & I just love how it looks! & of course, I got the hook up for all of you! Alli10 will get you 10% off!

I am loving this darling coffee shop that is just a sweet little two block walk from my house!

It also sells ice cream! LOVE it so much!!

As a typical firstborn, I have always had a very type A overly-organized personality. & this part of my personality absolutely shines through in my job as a counselor. I have schedules for my guidance classes, small groups, & individual pulls as well. Spreadsheets & notes & planners are basically one of my love languages! Because of all of this, I couldn’t be more pumped to be teaming up with Blooming Mindsets this week for a giveaway! Erika makes the most darling notepads & daily to-do list planners that help to organize my sticky-note desk & all of my thoughts for the day! Plus, they’re just such a vibe. Check out my Instagram post from today to see how to enter! :)

what I’ve been up to...

I have been super busy with my cheerleaders. We had a little kid’s clinic & Homecoming, so it’s been crazy! I wouldn’t change a bit of it though!

Got to spend the day in Manhattan with my siblings cheering on the Wildcats! Love them all so much. Being back at my alma mater was SO fun!! I will always be proud to be a K-State grad!!

what I’m dreading vs. what I’m excited about...

Tbh I’m dreading my birthday next month. Birthdays are hard when you're an adult. I just don't really like them anymore & I'm dreading feeling older. Like I'm enjoying life & I'm excited about the future, but getting older is hard, especially as an adult. Anyone else feel this way?

Currently I am SO excited for cooler weather & all things FALL!!

what I'm watching / reading...

I haven’t read a single thing this month, but I’ve been watching a lot of football! Chiefs & K-State are my favs!

Do you need some Chiefs gear?! I’ve got you covered! Below are some of my favs!

Love this sweatshirt!

& this one too!

This t-shirt works great on it’s own or with a cardigan or denim jacket!

& the cutest hat!

what I'm listening to...

Crime Junkies is my go to! & of course, instagram stories, ha!

what I'm wearing...

All the transition to fall outfits!

My college roommates will still be mad at me for this one, but I’ve never watched gossip girl. I just couldn’t get into it! But if I did watch it, I think these outfits would be inspired by the show. This plaid skirt is giving me all the fall vibes! It has functional pockets which is wonderful & the front crossover part is so unique, but also flattering! I grabbed a four in this one & felt like it fit perfectly!

This is that same skirt, but in black & one size bigger (I like the fit of the four better than the six). Super cute styled with a sweater, too!

Do I even need to go into detail about this outfit?!! I think it’s obvious by my grin how much I love it! The colors + texture are everything. This is my ideal summer to fall transition outfit right here. Well done, Walmart!

Super cute striped t-shirt dress! I snagged a medium for a looser fit & would say it fits true to size. It comes in quite a few other colors, but you know I can’t resist black & white stripes! Here is how I styled it for the rest of the hot summer weather we’ve got going on…

& then here’s how I’ll style it when the weather gets colder!! So cute & cozy!

If this head-to-toe Walmart outfit doesn’t scream cutie boho counselor, I don’t know what does!!! I’m OBSESSED! So darn comfortable while being super cute at the same time! The t-shirt says home grown at the bottom (I mean come on!!!) & I grabbed a size medium for a looser fit. I also grabbed the skirt in a medium so that the waist wouldn’t be tight & it’s pretty loose so I would say it fits a little bit big. Both pieces will obviously transition into fall very well!

Fall is my all time favorite season ever!!! I’d say it’s a perfect time to celebrate! I recently tried my very first ever pumpkin spice latte & I finally understand the hype! SO GOOD! & so is this darling spice girl crew!!! The best part? You can get 10% off of Sweat x Smith’s shop using SIMPLY10. She’s got TONS of great basics, athletic gear, & comfy + cozy options!

I feel like band tees have been all the rage pretty much this whole summer & I’m just now getting on the bandwagon to try them out. But I have to say, these two that come in a set from Walmart are pretty darn cute!! I got a medium because I wanted them to for sure cover my bottom on biker shorts & they’re perfect! The bright colors are too cute!

How about this oversized quarter zip from Target?! It’s unisex, so it fits pretty boxy & long. I grabbed a medium & would say it fits pretty true to size. I got it in grey, but there are other colors available too!

The absolute perfect Saturday outfit!

What about you? What’s up with you on this Wednesday?
