what I've been up to...
Last week was National School Counseling Week & my coworkers got me the prettiest bouquet!
Last weekend when I was at Walmart I picked up a few different “healthy” energy drinks to try. This one was my first one & I was super unimpressed. I panicked after I took the first sip at school because it tasted like alcohol!!! I give it 2/10.
This was the second one I tried. I definitely liked it better than the Celsius one. It still tasted a bit like alcohol though. I give it 6/10.
I’m a big leftovers girl & this enchilada soup hit the spot multiple days in a row!

For the past few months or so I’ve started *trying* to consistently share my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet.

Thursday was a snow day so I stayed in my pajamas on the couch all day!
My sister wore this darling outfit to a Valentines event she had! This exact dress is sold out, but I’m linking some similar ones.

I got another cute pic from my sister last night! This color of her sweater is sold out but there are other colors on sale for $17.98! & her boots are on sale for $33.99! Such a cute outfit for dinner with her college friends!

You guys know how much I love having my nails done all the time so I figured I’d share what I use! I’m linking the starter kit that I’ve had for years & just buy different colors of polish for. Both of my sisters & a bunch of my friends have it too & we’ve all had great success (& saved a lot of money, too)!

Starting off strong with the cutest little speckled crewneck from Walmart! I got a medium & feel like it fits mostly true to size, but maybe a little bit short, it doesn’t quite cover my bottom. It’s pretty thin so it’s perfect for spring! Comes in other color options.
I’ve had my eye on this crewneck since the fall & finally ordered it & now I’m kicking myself that I waited this long! It’s a perfect crewneck fit — I’m wearing a medium. It seems like pretty good quality, but you might want to wash it inside out & avoid drying it just so the letters don’t peel. Love this, especially with my Amazon leopard earrings too!
This is a plus size sweater from Walmart, but it totally fits more like a regular sized medium or large. I love its texture & the little detail on the sleeves. It comes in a few other colors that I’ve got my eyes on for spring! This will be a great transition piece.
My school’s colors are red & black & I’ve seen this red puffer vest a few times before but didn’t order it until now. It is fabulous & comes in a ton of other color options! I love the texture & design. I’m wearing a medium & it fits true to size! I paired it with my fav Amazon ribbed sweater & light wash mom jeans from Loft. This is an ideal game day outfit for me!
Y’all, I have some groundbreaking news. I think I just found the perfect comfy blazer!!! It’s from Walmart & it’s legit like sweats material. I got a medium & like how it fits a little bit chunkier, I didn’t want it to be tight. It’s incredibly flattering! The sleeves have like a textured crinkle which is such a cute little detail. It comes in a few other bright colors, but this light heather grey one is right up my alley!
This week the weather has shifted from one extreme to the other — sunny & 75 to a couple inches of snow! This outfit is the perfect example of how swapping out the shoes completely changes the whole look! My sweater is from Walmart & the frilled details on the sleeves are so cute & flirty — perfect for spring. I love it with these studded sandals from Amazon, but will have to go with the booties until the snow clears up!
Can we just take a minute for these shoes?! OBSESSED!!!
