First of all, happy Friday, friends!! Is there a better feeling than that "almost off work, about to go home & see your cat (lol me), put on some leggings or joggers, lounge on the couch, & pour yourself a glass of wine" feeling?

Second of all, wow oh wow! We wanted to say thank YOU to all of you for the love & support for us starting this blog! All of the kind messages & comments we received made our hearts feel so full! We are so thankful for YOU!

In honor of the First Feel Good Friday Post & the fact that Daughters Day was this past Wednesday, we wanted to introduce two very special people -- Bethany (far right) & Avery (middle). Bethany is a junior in high school (she just turned SEVENTEEN on Thursday which makes all of us feel VERY old & we're not okay with it in case you were wondering). Avery is a freshman & is loving being in high school with her big sis. The three of us have such a special bond as sisters. You'll be seeing & hearing more from these two.

friday favs...

I wanted to share these hair scarves again just to recap our Happy Hair post from the other day. If I'm being real & honest, I probably wear hair scarves too often, but can ya blame me? They're just so darn cute & easy to wear!

to look forward to...

Are you a reader? My mom has always been very into books & can finish them so quickly. I, on the other hand, was certain that all books were boring & that Netflix was so much better. However, since graduating college, I decided to give reading another shot this summer & boy was I surprised at how much I enjoyed it! Throughout college, all of the things I was reading were textbooks or research articles & to be quite honest, it wasn't that enjoyable. Now that I've gotten my love of reading back, my mom & I have been reading the same books & sharing our thoughts with one another. Check back next week for our September Book Review!

weekend plans...

This week we had parent-teacher conferences so we don't have school today. Can I get a woot woot?! I decided to come back to sweet home Moundridge for my three day weekend. What I'm looking forward to the most:

  • eating some delicious home cooked meals made by my sweet Mama (you don't realize how exhausting the act of cooking is until you have to make every meal of every day & meal plan & prep. I honestly don't know how all of you mamas out there do it. Lol I am barely keeping myself alive so kudos to all of you! Even if you're not told enough, thank you simply for feeding us kids).

  • getting to watch Avery play volleyball on Thursday night & then cheer at the football game on Friday night! One of my biggest sources of pride is being a big sister. God knew exactly what He was doing when He gave me three wonderfully unique younger siblings! Also, I was a cheerleader all throughout high school & my mom was my coach so you can imagine how proud I am that Avery is a cheerleader & how fun it is to watch her love something that my mom & I share a love for as well! #neverclosetheyearbook am i right?

  • celebrating Bethany's 17th Birthday! Honestly though, if Bethany is 17 then that means that I've got to be about 50 which makes my parents 90. I've decided to officially press the pause button on life. ...ok why are my eyes filled with tears right now... Going into this weekend wanting to embrace every moment because Bethany's birthday is a reminder that it goes so fast!

What are your plans for the weekend? Drop your plans below in the comments or feel free to message us on instagram! We'd love to hear what you're all up to. We hope you all have a wonderful & relaxing weekend!
