Feel Good Friday
Last week I had a wonderful week at my parents' home celebrating Thanksgiving with my family & also celebrating the marriage of two of my favorite people -- Rachel & Paul. I bought this deep sage green dress just for this wedding season because it's long sleeve & the colors look beautiful this time of year. The high neck line & cuffed sleeves gives this dress a very flattering look & it's unlike anything else that I own. My heels are kid size which is why the heel is very small & short, but I'll link some adult size ones below! Tan heels are a great staple piece because they go with just about everything.

On Saturday, I came down with the stomach flu & then my mom came down with it on Monday. We're crossing our fingers that nobody else gets sick as well. The stomach flu is honestly just the worst. I hope all of you are staying healthy this holiday season!
friday favs...
One of my favorite pieces of clothing lately has been this green puffer vest from Old Navy. I find myself wanting to wear it almost every day because it goes with so many different things! It's light enough that I don't get too hot, but it packs in enough heat to keep me warm & cozy. It's definitely a great layering piece & something I'm thankful to have in my closet this winter. Also in this picture are two of my other favorite things: my leopard loopy phone case & this basic black purse.
I love my leopard loopy case because it's extremely comfortable & helpful for a girl on the go. The loop is easily adjustable & really feels great when holding my phone. It's also nice to slip one finger through when you're trying to carry all of your groceries into your house because let's be real, I'm a one trip kind of girl... even if it makes me lose feeling in my arms. You can use our code smalltown10 for 10% off a loopy case!
This basic black purse is the exact size I was looking for -- it fits my wristlet (I'll post a picture below), my keys, wallet, phone, & lipstick/chapstick. My mom got me a wristlet for my birthday for those times when I need to have a wallet but don't feel like lugging a purse around. I kept my old wallet because it has more room for my gift cards, etc. I'm able to throw both in this purse & head out the door!
All of these items would be wonderful Christmas gifts! I'll link everything below so that it's easy to find. :)

to look forward to...
Next week we'll be sharing 12 things we're loving lately which is a list created by myself, my mom, & my two sisters in which we each share three items we can't get enough of lately. This will be a great post to get any last minute Christmas gift ideas (we've all been there). We'll also be sharing my mom's creamed corn recipe. This dish is requested for every holiday gathering on my mom's side & there's often not much left -- it's that good! We'll also be sharing our most recent Amazon haul, so get excited!
weekend plans...
This weekend I'm headed to Wichita to attend a Bachelorette party for one of my closest friends, Addy! I've been having so much fun during this season of life getting to attend so many weddings & bachelorette celebrations. When I think of the Christmas season, I think of Addy. She LOVES it! So one of our activities will be looking at Christmas lights as we ride around in a party bus -- how fun is that?! I can't wait to see my favorite girls & celebrate Addy & John. It's gonna be a good weekend!
What are your plans for the weekend? Drop them below in the comments, or feel free to message us on Facebook or Instagram! We'd love to hear what you're all up to. We hope you all have a wonderful & cozy weekend!
