Feel Good Friday

Over the weekend, I had the privilege of attending Addy's Christmas-themed bachelorette party & let me just say, it was a stinkin' good time! (I lived with these girls while in college & I'm so thankful + blessed to be able to continue doing life with them!) Also, how beautiful are the decorations?? Addy's mom is one of the best hostesses you'll ever meet & Addy takes after her 100%. This is such a good quality to have as a woman & I'm always in awe of the way they decorate their homes & make their guests feel so welcome. I ended the weekend with a very full heart & looking forward to Addy & John's wedding that will take place in the beginning of January!

On Monday of this week I finished my last final of my second semester of graduate school -- woot woot!! I'm now 1/3 of the way to receiving my Masters in School Counseling & boy does it feel good! It also feels really good to have a month long break from homework + assignments + projects. Being a full time grad student & having a full time job while also still wanting to be a full time sister, daughter & friend doesn't always mix so well. Looking forward to this Christmas break now more than ever before!

friday favs...

For today's friday favs, I'm sharing two outfits that I wear regularly! Both tops are in the orange color tone family (coincidence?).

This outfit I find myself grabbing when I want something that's casual & pretty dressed down, but will keep me warm & cozy at the same time. I love this oversized orange crewneck. It's definitely more of an orange color than a rust color, but nonetheless, I'm a fan. I also LOVE these brown buckle black rainbooties. They're so effortlessly cute & will keep your toes warm all day!

I also LOVE this soft & cozy mockneck sweater from Amazon. It's a really thick good quality that I don't always find when I try Amazon sweaters, so this one's a definite keeper! It also comes in black & ivory. Also, if you've seen me around at all recently, then you've probably noticed that I'm wearing either these tan suede mules or the leopard ones (from the first picture in this post). I'm so obsessed with them that I wear them almost every day! They're SO comfortable & fit really well. My mom always makes fun of me because I wear them around the house like slippers with my sweats & sweatshirt. It's quite the look.

weekend plans...

This weekend is my last weekend in Manhattan before heading to my parent's house for Christmas break! My weekend plans will probably consist of some last minute Christmas shopping, wrapping some presents & cozying up on the couch with a cup of hot tea & my cat, Sophie. I love watching Christmas movies during this time of year. My favorite one that I keep rewatching is the new Grinch movie that came out last year! I just really enjoy the music & the humor & of course, Max (the Grinch's dog) is so cute. Do you have any good Christmas movie recommendations that I should check out this weekend?
