Camo Cuties
Years ago when I was in high school, the only people wearing camo were those who called themselves "hicks" & they wore cowboy boots & looked like the real deal. However, camo has started to become a trend for all people to wear & I am here for it! I've always loved neutrals & patterns & easy pieces to complete an outfit. Keep reading to see some great options for wearing camo that don't make you look like you're about to go sit in a field & wait for a deer to walk by.

Since this post is about camo, we should start it off with a bang, right? Our first outfit is this camo t-shirt dress with white converse. When this dress first came in, I didn't think I was going to be a fan. However, once Avery tried it on, I quickly changed my mind. You just can't go wrong with a t-shirt dress -- even in camo! This is definitely a busy dress so we decided to break it up a bit by adding a denim jacket. It's crazy how by adding this one piece of clothing changes the look completely! We also thought this would be cute with a pair of black booties & even a black cardigan instead of a denim jacket.

Next is this darling camo vest from Amazon. I'm really into vests this season so when I found this camo one, I knew it was meant to be. I paired this vest with a plain black long sleeve t-shirt, jeans & some black booties. Once it gets colder, I'll probably start wearing a black sweater instead of this light long sleeve. You could also wear black Steve Madden slip on shoes to make this outfit a little bit more casual.
Bonus -- this vest has great deep pockets! The pockets don't unbutton, rather, you hand just slides into the top of them. So cute & efficient!

Lastly, (before we get to the comfy section which I know you're all dying to see) is this pair of camo jeans. We found these at Target & they are currently on sale for less than $20! All of these other pieces of clothing are different tops so we thought it would be fun to include a pair of bottoms as well! We don't discriminate. Bethany paired these camo jeans with a plain black long sleeve t-shirt & her black Steve Madden slip on shoes. You could definitely wear this outfit with a black sweater & some black booties as well when the weather starts to get colder!
As we were taking pictures of this outfit, Bethany kept referring to herself as Kim Possible lol. Hey, if wearing this outfit makes you feel like you can conquer all of the worlds' problems, maybe we all should dress like this!

Our first comfy top is this simple camo crewneck sweatshirt from Target. This is such an easy piece of clothing to grab when you're looking for a casual outfit. I usually wear this crewneck with jeans & my brown birkenstocks. As it gets colder, I'll substitute my birkenstocks for a pair of booties or black Steve Madden slip on shoes. This crewneck would also look great with black jeans & a denim jacket. So versatile!

Next up is this color block black & camo quarter zip. We were really excited about this quarter zip because of the color block style & the fact that it's a little bit more subtle. The material is almost like dry fit & the Rice girls are more of a cotton material family, so we didn't like it as much as we had hoped. However, it looks great paired with jeans & a pair of black Steve Madden slip on shoes & would also look great with tennis shoes if you're wanting a really casual look.

Last up for the comfy clothes is my personal favorite out of all of these camo options. The camo zip up jacket that Avery's wearing (left) & the camo crewneck sweatshirt that Bethany's wearing (right) are both from Amazon & the patterns & colors are almost identical!
Avery chose to pair her jacket with a plain white v-neck t-shirt with jeans & light grey Steve Madden slip on shoes. Bethany chose to wear her crewneck sweatshirt with leggings & brown birkenstocks. The beauty of these pieces is that you can wear them with jeans or with leggings & it looks great both ways! & let me say that Bethany is obsessing over these leggings from Amazon. She loves them!

If you're a little bit skeptical about camo & feel like it might be a little bit too bold for you, check out these two options below! They are more subtle & just add a little pop.
Here, I've paired a camo hat with a pair of jeans, birkenstocks & this oversized black sweatshirt. The outfit is great for being out & about & transitioning into fall weather. You could easily swap out the birkenstocks for a pair of Steve Madden slip on shoes, or even some tennis shoes.
This hat looks great with lots of different styles of hair: up, down, low bun, you name it. It also has an American Flag on the front & says "USA" on the side. Can I just say what we're all thinking? 'Merica.
