Denim on Top
You are crazy if you don't have a favorite pair of jeans! You know that pair that you grab every single time even if you've worn them a lot & they're getting stretched out & need washed? Those jeans that fit just right & are so stinkin' comfortable? What if you could have that feeling in a denim shirt & have it look cute at the same time? Well, you've come to the right place!
Doesn't this outfit just scream I want to go frolicking in a pumpkin patch?! Avery came upstairs one morning in this adorable outfit & we knew we needed to share it. She's wearing black jeans with some wedge heels she found on Amazon. Avery gets a lot of use out of these heels because she says they're so comfortable! They've got lots of color options so check them out.
Avery chose to wear this soft denim long sleeve button-up underneath an old oversized maroon sweater from Forever21. (Don't you just love big sister hand-me-downs?)
The sweater Avery's wearing is no longer available, but I found a couple other options that would work great as well! This one looks to be a little bit more loose & flowy while this one cinches at the waist. Both would be great layering pieces or even cute on their own! Just depends what kind of shirt you prefer wearing.
Next up is this cute soft denim short sleeve button-up! I got this shirt from American Eagle, but it's no longer available. Here is a very similar shirt -- I love that it has the option to do a front tie! & here is another option -- it has seven different color options which is kind of cool if you're looking for something besides light denim.
I paired this denim shirt with a pair of black jeans & some Steve Madden leopard Pascale (kids) sandals. If you don't already know, I have EXTREMELY small feet so these are a size 2 in kids! Here is a link to the adult size of the Pascale sandals. They have a ton of great color options & are honestly so comfortable!
Also, my Apple Watch band is camel leather & can be found here.
I'm pretty much always cold so I always have a jacket/cardigan/sweatshirt to take with me whenever I go places -- it's like a security blanket. This mustard popcorn cardigan from Marshalls is no longer available, but I found a couple of other options. I love the woven detailing on this one & that they have lots of color options in case you're not a mustard fan. Here is another great option that has many different colors & even has a few different styles & patterns!
Here is another outfit that goes along great with this theme. Avery is wearing the same soft denim long sleeve button-up as in the first couple of pics, with this rust orange cardigan from Target. This outfit is a little bit more casual because of the leggings & knock off Steve Madden shoes, but you could definitely dress it up with jeans & a pair of booties or wedges.
These dainty gold teardrop earrings go great with all of these outfits! They have a stud back instead of dangling which is kind of nice because they feel really secure. These earrings work great as a statement piece but are subtle enough with your hair down that they'll just peak through for a fun flair. Plus they're less than $8 which makes them a great steal!
