Full week back to school since Christmas break so screaming TGIF is necessary lol!
what I've been up to...
Last Friday my hometown came to my new town for basketball! Even though they beat us, it was still really fun to be around my family & my hometown community. My sister, Bethany (right), said it best when she said: one of my FAVORITE things to do is watch my sisters do what they love! So thankful for my family & feeling extra thankful to have found a place I love as much as my hometown!

For the past few months or so I’ve started *trying* to consistently share my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet.

With the snow storm that came through overnight & the freezing temperatures, my entire town lost power for a good chunk of the day so we didn’t have school! They still had the middle school basketball games so here is what I wore to them that night! My new fav sweater from JCPenney that is buttery soft & cozy!

Tuesday’s cozy outfit! Of course this color in the sweater is sold out, but there are a bunch of other color options available & they’re on sale for less than $30 which is a steal for Aerie!

I shared about this cleanser last week, but I got the matching moisturizer so I wanted to share it again! My sisters & I got this cleanser for Christmas & we are OBSESSED! Makes our skin squeaky clean & smells so darn good. One of my sisters swears it’s already clearing up her acne in one week!
This cream is so dang refreshing & feels so good on my skin. I absolutely love it!

I’m all about lounge sets, especially when they include joggers. This one is from Target! If I’m being totally honest, it’s not my favorite. The joggers were huge & not very soft & the top is cropped. Both come in other color options in case you’re interested. I think it’s important to share the things I don’t like just to maintain my authenticity here on the blog!
Target has started posting some pieces that are making me feel very ready for springtime, like this white blouse! I’m wearing a medium & it fits true to size. It’s not see through at all which I really appreciate. It comes in some other color options as well, but you can never go wrong with white in my opinion!
This sweater has been all over my social media from different bloggers & influencers being obsessed with it, so you know I had to snag it for myself & of course in black & white stripes because why bother branching out lol it is more of a knitted material, so it’s not super soft. I grabbed a medium & feel like it fits true to size. It has a cute side slit as well as a ribbed neckline, hemline & sleeves. It comes in a few other color options that I’m now very tempted by!
mini Walmart haul!
I saw this cute sparkle speckled sweater from Walmart before Christmas & thought it would be so perfect for the holidays, but I forgot to order it until now — oops! I still really like it though, the sparkles are super subtle & are darling for the winter season. The best part is it’s $8!!! It comes in other colors & I’m wearing a medium, although it’s a tighter fit with balloon sleeves.
Another Walmart sweater! I grabbed this one in pink since Valentine’s Day is coming up soon. It’s super soft & there are some other tempting color options, too! I’m wearing a medium, true to size!
I’ve seen this oversized Walmart turtleneck shared so many times that I had to try it. I love how loose & flowy it is, including the neck. I really like this white color & how it fits, it is definitely oversized! It would look great untucked with some faux leather leggings & booties.
I’m always on the look out for coats / jackets since I help with recess duty. This one is super lightweight & really comfy! I love the quilted look & this cream color! It has really nice deep pockets which is a huge bonus for me. & I know that it comes in an olive green color as well that I now have my eyes on.
