Feel Good Friday
Happy Friday!!! Just a few more hours & it’s officially my Thanksgiving break!!!!!
what I've been up to...
On Sunday we went to Qdoba for lunch. I did a poll on my Instagram stories to see if y’all like Chipotle or Qdoba better! What’s your preference?
My grandma called me on Tuesday morning & said that On The Hook Fish & Chips Food Truck was going to be in her town & wanted to know if I wanted to come over for dinner. It was a big heck yes for me! They are a chain of food trucks that go all over the midwest selling only fish & chips & it is absolutely delicious! I linked to their Facebook page up above so you can check their schedule to see if they’re ever in your area!
outfits of the week…
For the past few months or so I’ve started *trying* to consistently share my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet.
Friday…
Friday’s casual outfit!
Saturday…
On Saturday I lounged around my house in day five hair & I did not document it lol.
Sunday…
Sunday’s outfit for church & errands! Featuring my stretching kitty photo bombing!
Monday...
I chose to wear one of my Chiefs tees & my fav Walmart camo cardigan to celebrate their win on Sunday night!
Tuesday...
I’m loving all of my neutrals in Tuesday’s cozy outfit of the day! This striped sweater is still in stock in some sizes from Walmart, but I linked to some similar options below as well!
Wednesday...
I wore a cozy little outfit since we have a cold front coming through! My speckled sweater is years old from Old Navy, but I’m linking some similar options below!
Thursday...
Here was my outfit for school spirit Thursday!
in case you missed it...
On Tuesday I shared a mini clothing haul from Walmart & I thought I’d share it again below! Keep scrolling to check it out.
On Wednesday I shared my family’s Amazon prime finds for the month of October — you just never know what you’re going to find there lol you can click here to check out that post.
As you may have seen, I started a new weekly post where I share my Weekly Sale Finds! I’ve been sharing them daily on my Instagram stories & I figured I could compile all of them from the week into one post so that y’all can see them, too! You can click here to read that post.
This week I’m teaming up with LifeWithSunshine to spread a little awareness about one simple thing — being a nice human. This community has been so genuinely nice + kind & y’all have blessed me more than you even know!! So to celebrate, we want to give one of you this darling tee! Check out my Instagram post to see how to enter. Angie is also offering a code (ALLI2021) for free shipping from anything from her shop through the new year!
friday favs...
Okay this is a kind of random find, but it’s so good so it’s worth sharing! Apparently over the summer I got rid of literally ALL of my gloves. Like I can’t find a single pair ANYWHERE. I have super small hands so “normal person gloves” never fit me. There’s always too much extra fabric & I don’t like it. I finally found the perfect replacements! They are tech-friendly so you can use your phone while you have them on. I got them in the heather grey color & already ordered the black color once I knew I loved them! So in case you have tiny hands too, these are wonderful!
I washed all of my bedding on Saturday (best feeling ever, am I right?) while watching some football & I realized I haven’t shared my room in quite some time, so now is the perfect opportunity to show it off! This space is one of my favs in my house!
My plant stand in my office was on sale last week & I love it so much I figured I could share it here as well!
This initial necklace was also on sale last week & it would be a wonderful Christmas gift! I got mine from my Aunt years ago & still love it!
Now that basketball season has started up, I’ve been adding some game day gear to my wardrobe. I absolutely love this font & how this neutral tee pairs so well with many different things! We want to help one of y’all add to your game day gear so I’m doing a giveaway with HKVinylDesign — head over to my Instagram to see how to enter. She’s also offering a discount code (ALLI20) until the end of November!
I placed a few orders this week & thought I would share them below. I’ll be sharing more details soon, but since things seem to be selling fast everywhere, here is your chance to see what caught my eye!
I ordered these cute Christmas items from Target & can’t wait for them to get here!!
What I picked up at Aerie!
What I ordered from Abercrombie!
Two of my favorite go to camo pieces are currently on sale so I am sharing them below!
First is this camo cardigan. Y’all it’s legit as soft & cozy as my barefoot dreams blankets!!! I’ve shared it a couple of times since I got it & multiple people have bought it & are just as obsessed as I am! It comes in other color options, but I loved the muted camo. It’s super cozy for lounging around in leggings. It is currenlty on sale for $14.50!! RUN & get this!
Next up is this camo crew neck. I have these in so many different colors & they are my go to. They remind me a lot of the aerie sweatshirts but SO much cheaper. It’s on sale right now for $9.50!!
Mini Walmart Clothing Haul
First up is this adorable animal / camo print cream sweater! I’m IN LOVE with the material & the cuffed sleeves. It is incredibly warm & cozy & honestly feels like barefoot dreams material. It fits oversized, but I like that because it’s extra cozy. It comes in a couple of other color options as well I believe, but I thought this one was cute & unique!
This grey leopard sweater is my fav piece from my whole try on!!! It fits true to size & the material is fabulous! SUPER soft & cozy! Not quite as thick as the sweater from above, but it also feels like barefoot dreams material. I love the ribbed neckline & hemline. Too cute!
I’ve been loving olive / hunter green colors this fall & this mockneck is no exception. It’s not the softest sweater I’ve ever tried on, but the knitted fabric feels like a really high quality material. I’m wearing a medium here because I didn’t want it to be cropped at all & it works perfectly for me!
Here is a closer look at these cute white booties that I was wearing with those sweaters!
Shackets have become my saving grace the past couple of years! I’m almost always freezing at work & shackets make it so that I can feel like I’m bundled up & wearing a coat, but still look cute & school appropriate lol this one is actually a men’s so it fits a little bigger — I’m wearing a small here. I love the colors of this one & the sherpa material on the outside!

If you’ve been around here for awhile, then you’re no stranger to my fav Walmart crewnecks! These are seriously the best & so dang affordable. I also grabbed a pair of joggers & they’re super comfy! They look / feel like they might pill, but I feel like they’re still worth it considering the price.
