Feel Good Friday

Happy Friday, beautiful people!

what I've been up to...

Last Friday was my 25th birthday! My parents took me out for a yummy dinner at a brewery in Wichita that we hadn’t tried yet.

They surprised me by inviting some friends & family!

It was so nice to catch up with everyone & be surrounded by the people I love the most!

On Sunday we went to church & ran some errands before having Panera for lunch. They recently came out with a grilled mac & cheese. If you know me, then you know one of my favorite meals is grilled cheese with tomato soup, so of course I had to try this! My sister & I both got it & we really liked it. The mac & cheese was fairly runny which made it pretty messy to eat, but it was really delicious.

I had a couple of evening appointments in the town my grandma lives in on Tuesday night so we had dinner together at a local brick oven pizza place! It was super yummy & I really enjoyed the company. :)

outfits of the week…

For the past few months or so I’ve started *trying* to consistently share my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet.

Friday…

No school on Friday thanks to parent teacher conferences last week!

Saturday…

I’ll be totally honest, I didn’t change out of my pjs at all on Saturday & had pretty greasy hair since I just spent the day doing house work. For all of our sakes, I did not document it!

Sunday…

I decided to go comfy again for church & running errands!

Monday...

Monday’s OOTD in honor of Chiefs game day! You can use my code (ALLI10) for 10% off this crewneck (& anything else on her Etsy shop)!

Tuesday...

I chose a cozy outfit for Tuesday because it’s FREEZING!!! I seriously can’t get enough of this Amazon sweater though. It’s such a good one!

Wednesday...

Another comfy & cozy outfit! Who’s surprised? I like to wear a striped tank under some of my plain colored sweaters just because it adds another layer & I love having a little pop of stripes peek out. The picture on the right shows what it looks like!

Thursday...

This picture was taken literally fifteen minutes before I spilled coffee down the front of my shirt in an IEP meeting lol happy Thursday to me!

in case you missed it...

On Tuesday I shared a little recap post of October’s best sellers! I’m not at all surprised by the pieces y’all are loving!! Check out that post by clicking here.

On Wednesday I shared one of my favorite counseling lessons I’ve used with my students. It involves skittles, need I say more? You can check out that post here.

As you may have seen, I started a new weekly post where I share my Weekly Sale Finds! I’ve been sharing them daily on my Instagram stories & I figured I could compile all of them from the week into one post so that y’all can see them, too! You can click here to read that post.

This coffee tee is one that is featured in that post! This one is not necessarily a discount, but I’m teaming up with AmyAnneTees on Etsy for a double giveaway on my Instagram so I figured y’all should know about it, too! Switching things up a bit this week to do Teacher (or counselor) t-shirt on a Thursday! But first, COFFEE need I say more?! We are giving away one of these darling coffee tees & I was feeling a bit generous so I’m also going to send one of you a coffee on me! Head on over to my Instagram to see how to enter. Winner will be chosen on 11/11!

friday favs...

I know that I’m not getting near enough fruits & veggies (especially) as I should be, so I grabbed these cans of V8 the last time I got groceries. I actually really love the taste of tomato juice & V8 so these aren’t a problem for me at all!

My parents got me this mug for my birthday & I’m absolutely in love with it. I actually have the t-shirt version of this from the same shop & I just loved the quote so much — my parents know me so well! It’s a little bit hard to see with my coffee in it, but it says “you can do hard things”!

My current shampoo & conditioner combo! Looove the lather from the shampoo & I use this mask as conditioner & my hair has never been softer!!! I only shower every 3-4 days just FYI! If you shower more frequently than that, I would recommend using the mask every other shower.

After the shower I spray 5-6 spritz of this leave-in spray in my hair & put it up in my Kitsch towel scrunchie.

& these are all the styling products I use! Over the years I’ve tried tons of different kinds & these are what I always end up coming back to.

As I was doing some shopping this week, I came across these apple watch bands. Can you even?! I just love the subtle leopard print!

I grabbed these super comfy joggers for myself from Aerie since I got a little discount code for my birthday! I grabbed a “small short” since Aerie clothes typically run big, & that was a good choice for me! They are truly so soft & fuzzy, but pretty thin so I haven’t gotten hot at all wearing them around my house which is a huge plus. Other color options are available!

Now for a mini Old Navy haul!

A matching pajama set that feels like a cloud? Say less! I wish I could describe just how soft the material is, but it’s literally impossible. You just need to try them for yourself! I’m wearing a small in the top & traded the bottoms in from a medium to a small because they were too big. I’m super tempted by the grey option too!

These are my all-time forever favorite active wear shorts!! I have them in four colors now, they’re that good. I also grabbed this thin black fleece zip up jacket & I absolutely love it! It’s fleece material so it’s warm, but it’s actually pretty thin so it’s not like super hot. It’s very soft!

Another little activewear outfit! I grabbed this little black jacket & my sister loved it so much she got one for herself too. I also grabbed these olive green joggers. They’re a really comfy slick material & have a zipper option on the side. Both are super comfy & great quality!

This is that pajama top from above, but I’m wearing it as a normal black t-shirt because it’s so soft & you’d never know!! I grabbed these straight leg jeans in three colors because I love them so much. This is the dark wash & I love the raw hemline. They fit great & I’m wearing my normal size!

This was taken right when I tried them on after school — LOVE!!

Same “pajama” ;) top & jeans, but in the grey wash!

Same jeans, but in the medium wash with a little bit of distressing — the one on the thigh has a patch on the inside so it doesn’t show any skin, but the one on the knee does show skin. I love a floral blouse & this one is wonderful! I’m wearing a small & it fits true to size. I love that the neckline isn’t too deep & the vibrant colors in the print are just too pretty!

Last but certainly not least, I grabbed this green knitted cardigan & I am pretty much swooning over it. I realized I didn’t have a green cardigan so it was a no brainer purchase for me! It’s a great material & quality. I’m wearing a small & would say it fits a little bit oversized. I’m super tempted by every single one of the other color options!!
