Feel Good Friday
Happy Friday! I hope you had a wonderful week & that you did things that fill your heart. This week was a pretty short week for me because I didn't have school on Monday or Friday & let me tell ya, it was great. I feel like sometimes I go go go & start running on empty & before long I'm in dire need of a break. Also, this week was midterm week for my grad classes so let's just keep piling it on! These two three-day-weekends that I had in a row was just what the doctor ordered (cue relaxing spa music).
friday favs...
One of our major favorites from this week includes this Tula Cooling & Brightening eye balm. It's a bit of a splurge, but if you want to hear why I think it's worth it, click here.
Another one of our favorites is this white & black leopard skirt from Amazon! We did a post all about leopard & this was one of our favorite finds because it's so darling. This skirt looks great how Avery has it styled, but it would also look great with a cropped black sweater & some booties.
Now that the weather has finally decided to catch up to the fact that it's the middle of October, I can finally break out my sweaters & vests without looking like a fool! Lately I've been loving this vest from Amazon. It's very flattering because it cinches together in the back, giving the illusion of a feminine figure. It pairs so well with almost all of the sweaters that I own & it comes in quite a few colors as well! This striped sweater from Target is less than $20 & pairs great with the vest.
Last, but certainly not least, is one of my favorite boutiques & what's even better is that it's owned by someone I know! We teamed up with Simply Lynn's Boutique & owner Cassidy Corrigan shared some of her favorite fall fashion finds with us. Click here to read what she said.
to look forward to...
Next week we're talking about two big colors/patterns that are very in style this fall: rust & camo. Stay tuned!
weekend plans...
As I stated above, this weekend is my second three-day-weekend in a row. Last weekend I went home (yes, again), but this weekend I'm staying put. I love going home & seeing my family & doing so many fun & different activities, but then it feels like I'm stuck playing catch up & it's difficult for me to adjust back to real life. I don't really have any major plans this weekend (which I'm looking forward to) besides deep cleaning my house, finishing up some homework, watching the KSU vs. TCU game (go cats!) & let's be real, probably online shopping.
What are your plans for the weekend? Drop them below in the comments, or feel free to message us on Facebook or Instagram! We'd love to hear what you're all up to. We hope you all have a wonderful & cozy weekend!
