Because of the new site set up, this post should’ve been posted on February 16th, but the switch made things a little quirky.
Sharing all of the things my family ordered from Amazon in the month of January! It’s quite random & hodge podge, but that’s what Amazon’s for, right? ;)
soft sweatshirt tunic
I saw this grey fuzzy tunic sweatshirt & knew I needed to try it. My literal ONLY complaint about this is that it was super staticky! Like even after I took it off, I was super staticky -- like my whole body. It's very soft & actually pretty thin so it's perfect for layering. It's a tunic fit so it's longer & definitely offers booty coverage. I got a small & would say that it fits true to size, considering the tunic length. It comes in a few other color options as well!

grey floral bread loaf pan
About a month ago I noticed that my bananas were super ripe so I wanted to make my Mom’s delicious chocolate chip banana bread BUT I didn’t have a bread loaf pan. Lol adulting is hard sometimes! So I stuck them in the freezer & went on the hunt to find one. All of my kitchen cabinets in the house I’m renting have glass fronts so you can see everything. I found this one & am in LOVE! It’s darling & passes as a decor piece while still being useable. I love it!!

pimple patches
During my two weeks of Christmas Break I hardly wore a mask & my skin is freaking the freak out about having to wear one all the time again now that I’m back in school! Like I am SO broken out. I’ve heard about these hydrocolloid Band-Aids & luckily Avery brought some to let me try!
I’m showing a couple of pics & just a warning — IT IS GROSS!!!!! You put these pimple patches on before you go to bed & they suck out everything in the pimple & you take it off in the morning when you wake up. I’ve heard that the longer you can leave them on, the better. I had a deep white head on the right side of my chin & figured I ought to try them out. I took this picture in the morning right before I took it off & you can see all of the gunk that it brought to the surface! Hehe peep my birthmark under my bottom lip!
This is what it looked like after I took it off! SO GROSS!!!!! I was shocked when I felt my face & couldn’t even tell where the pimple was — it was completely smooth! There’s still a blemish mark & it’s still red which is pretty easy to cover up with makeup, but it’s not raised at all which is amazing! I feel like they’re a much more gentle option rather than picking at them or trying to pop them yourself. I’ve heard that they work best on whiteheads. I will definitely be keeping some of these on hand for those pesky boogers that pop up unexpectedly!
black “grandpa” cardigan
I saw someone share this black grandpa cardigan buttoned up & tucked in & you better believe I ran to my computer to order it! HOW CUTE! I never would’ve thought to tuck it in like this! It has balloon sleeves & a bit of a baggier fit, but the length is true to size. The buttons are really pretty, but if you choose to style it like this, I would highly recommend wearing something underneath because there’s only three buttons so it leaves some gaping holes lol. Pretty soft & comes in other colors!

floral babydoll short sleeve shirt
I shared this whole outfit last month, but my sister saw it & loved it & ordered it for herself so I thought I ought to share it again since it's that good! Okay I think this might be my favorite floral shirt I’ve EVER owned! Oh my goodness where to even start?! Okay first of all, I absolute love the pattern & color scheme! I would say that in real life it’s a little more pastel than the fall colors shown on the website’s photo. I feel like it will work really well for both the spring & fall months. Second, y’all know I love babydoll tops. I just feel like they’re really flattering on any body type because they give an illusion of a smaller waist & wider hips. Who doesn’t want to look like they’ve got an hourglass figure going on? The fabric isn’t cotton or a blouse material which I like because it’s super comfy! It fits true to size & I’m wearing a small. I’m about to go snag it in every single color option available!

cetaphil moisturizer
I had a little sample of this moisturizer & had been testing it out for the last month or so. My sample ran out so I started using my other moisturizers, but my face was SO dry! I finally ordered this bottle because I knew it was the only thing that was working for my face right now. I don't really struggle with redness, but I just really like how silky smooth this stuff is & how hydrated it makes my face feel.
bedside lamp
I was waiting for my nightstand to come in to order a bedside lamp & it finally did so this is the lamp I got! I love that the style matches the one in my living room so well. This one is nice because it has two little USB plug ins right on the side which is incredibly convenient. Plus, it's really cool because you touch the wooden base to turn it on or off! How cool!!! It also has three levels of brightness which is really nice.
jergens tanning lotion
Let’s talk about our secrets for staying “tan” / having a little bit of color in the fall & winter months, shall we? My skin is naturally pretty tan with olive undertones. Especially in the winter months, I can start to look a little bit green-ish — it’s kind of a problem. I used to go to the tanning beds a couple of times a month to keep the green away, but I realize now that that wasn’t the safest & healthiest option for my skin. I now rotate between a few different self-tanners. This lotion is one of my go-tos & I’ve been using it since high school! You apply this lotion like you would any other lotion, but make sure to wash your hands after you use it, otherwise you’ll have oompa loompa hands for a few days lol. This lotion doesn’t stain anything & is a gradual build. It comes in a few different shades, I always get the darkest option just because that’s what works for my skin. They do have a facial tanning moisturizer too but I’ve never tried it.
feliway cat diffuser refill
My cat sometimes has an issue with peeing places in the house that she shouldn’t. That problem on top of the stresses of moving into a new house recently was all the more reason to try out this diffuser specifically designed to help with both of those things. You plug this little guy into a diffuser & place it near the location that you WANT the cat to pee. So for me, mine is plugged into the wall right next to my cat’s litter box in my mudroom. They last about a month & it’s super easy to buy replacements. I’ve been using it for about a month & a half & so far she’s only had one time of peeing outside of the litter box so I’d call it a win! Also, it apparently gives off a pheromone for cats, but I can’t smell anything.
shower exfoliating glove
I've pretty much always been obsessed with exfoliating my skin & wanting it to be as smooth as possible. & when I exfoliate, I want it to be so rough that I feel like I've lost at least one (maybe two) layers of skin by the time I'm done lol. I saw these exfoliating shower gloves when I was browsing on Amazon & fell into the trap & bought them & holy stinkin' cow am I glad I did!!!! Y'all they are legit AMAZING! I got the "heavy" set, but they also have a lighter set that is less rough. You just get it wet, put some body wash on the glove & wash yourself. They're legit amazing!!! My skin has seriously never been so soft! The first time I used them, I only did it on one of my legs & not the other just so I could see if I could tell a difference. Shaving was SO much easier & my lotion even went on better on the leg I had exfoliated! These are a super win for me!
boho scentsy melt
Absolutely loving this new scentsy / candle burner I got! It’s too stinking cute & I love that it’s its own decor piece. It even has different levels of heat which is a nice feature. Less than $25 which is my favorite part!

foot peel mask
I don’t know that I’d consider myself to be a super “active” person, but my feet sure look like I am — sorry if that’s TMI. Like I’m not an avid hiker or runner, nor do I regularly walk around without shoes on outside. I struggle with dry & callused feet. I’ve tried all the lotions & scrubs, gotten pedicures & filers, but nothing seems to solve the problem. I had pretty much given up on my search for a product that would help me feet, until I found this foot peel mask. I’ll admit, I didn’t want to spend $29.99 on two foot masks, but I did it anyways. & holy stinkin’ cow am I glad I did! I FINALLY found something that works!! Now, in order to go from nasty old man feet to sweet & soft baby’s bottom feet, a purging process happens. The title of this foot mask is “Foot Peel Mask” & it is not playing around when it says that your feet will do exactly that … peel. Like crazy. Like I couldn’t wear sandals for about a week because I looked like I had a disease! It was absolutely insane! & it wasn’t just like my heels or calluses that were peeling, it was my entire foot like the bottom & sides that I didn’t think were even bad. So, all in all, the mask did exactly what I hoped it would — it gave me my feet back! But the process to get there, I will admit, was nasty. The old saying, “beauty is pain” doesn’t quite fit for these foot masks. Instead, it should be “beauty is literally actually truly the most disgusting thing ever & I don’t want anyone to know about this”. ;)
lavender scented cat litter
Another thing for my cat lol. Her litter box is in my mud room which is right behind my living room. I'm really picky about the smell of cat litter & since I was almost out, I did some research & this one was really highly recommended, especially on smell! So far my cat has been totally fine & seems to like it just as much as her previous kinds.
rug slip
I bought a beautiful rug from Wayfair for my living room, but it kept getting caught up on my carpet & made little bumps that my cat would like to run through & make worse lol. I ordered this slip & have had it for about a month & it's been perfect! It was fairly easy to install (with the help of my Dad). I was quite annoyed that I had to spend $30 just for a rug slip (#adulting) but it's been such a game changer so it's definitely worth it!
tweezers
I'm a firm believer that there are good tweezers & there are bad tweezers. Mine were starting to get kind of dull & made plucking stray eyebrow hairs quite challenging. Ain't nobody got time for that! These are so sharp & crisp & really showed me how bad my old ones were!
wireless rain station
I saw this on our orders & I have to be honest that I had to ask my parents what the heck it was lol! Apparently it's a wireless rain station. My dad works in the ag industry & knowing how much rain you got at your house is incredibly important for farmer talk. My dad said this one is great because it's digital & he can just check it before heading out the door!
curved monitor
This curved monitor & stand is something my brother bought. I think he was pouting because so many of his college classes are still online which he absolutely hates!
concealer
This is the concealer that my mom swears by! She tried tarte's shape tape (that's what I use) once, but went back to this. I have tried it as well & it's good, but definitely a lighter coverage, so it just depends what you need. The price can't be beat for sure!
phone case
My sister, Bethany, got a new phone & ordered this, so I asked her to review it & here is what she had to say: The phone case is a very cute light lavender color. It's easy to get on and off. It is pretty durable and it is super easy to keep clean. It is the slick kind of material which I like and is easy to hold on to!
screen protector
She also needed a new screen protector!
dish towels
My mom ordered these dish towels & absolutely loves them! They are so soft & come in a pack of 6 for less than $11.
dishwasher rack wheels
Amazon sells everything, don't they? My parents have been getting so frustrated because one of the wheels on their dishwasher rack was falling off every time they pulled it out. Amazon to the rescue! These wheels were here the next day & have saved them a lot of frustration lol!
black leather thin wallet
My Dad ordered this new wallet. He's not picky & didn't want anything fancy, just plain & simple. This one is doing the trick!
